Ilana is everything we could have possibly asked for in a doula. This was our first pregnancy and her presence was key. My family lives across the country, so having someone during the labor and delivery process that could keep calm and collected as my advocate was a tremendous help. Prior to delivery, she met with us to go over our birth plan so that we were all on the same page and was instrumental in educating us on what to anticipate during labor and how her doula training could come into play to ease the process. Throughout the labor and delivery, Ilana was the perfect combination of caring and professional. She was key to keeping important questions and our birth plan preferences in mind, all while keeping up motivational coaching. Ilana was well-informed, attentive (without being overbearing), and responsive. The labor and delivery of our son, Graham, was everything we hoped it would be and we are so glad that Ilana was by our side the entire time. She even thoughtfully followed up post-delivery to check in on us to make sure we were recovering and adjusting to parenthood. Bonus – Ilana gives incredible foot massages!!!!
