Call Me Doula! provides a complimentary initial visit where we will get to know each other and discuss your pregnancy and any birth plans that you have. I will explain how using a doula works, review my standard contract, and answer any questions. The initial visit aims at ensuring that you and the doula are compatible and will be able to work closely toward a positive birth experience. As your doula, I will be available by phone, text or email to support you as you near your due date and will meet you either at home or at your hospital/birthing center once labor is established and assistance is desired. After your birth and once your family has settled in a bit, I will meet you for a postpartum visit where I can help you process the birth and refer you to any other resources you may need.
